Coming last, they were partially covered with an unappealing grey (!) sauce. The chicken sattay deserve an extra paragraph though, being the dish which Indonesia is famous for and which airlines even in economy class are able to produce well. Advertised as baked in a crust of herbs and garlic, the idea of 'crust' at this restaurant is 'a sprinkling'. The fish, who looked surprisingly different from the menu, was bland, though easier to chew than plasterboard. The fried tofu on the other hand was tasteless but mouthburning hot. ![]() It shared with the spring rolls (also lukewarm) an (un)healthy dose of sugar. Maybe that was the reason why the Nasi Goreng was lukewarm - some would have called it 'room temperature'. The Nasi Goreng came first, followed by the spring rolls. Goreng, chicken sattay, fish in a crust of herbs and garlic. We ordered as starters fried tofu and spring rolls, as mains Nasi. Unfortunately this restaurant also serves food, - and cooking is not their strong point. Let us start with the good: The restaurant is inviting, clean, the staff is friendly, the lemon soda good.
